Does this run my pumps?
No — and anyone telling you otherwise is selling you something. Fuel dispensers run through a fuel controller, which is a separate system. What we set up is everything on the store side of the counter. Tell us which controller you have and we’ll tell you honestly what does and doesn’t talk to it.
Can I sell lottery and age-restricted items?
Lottery is normally a separate terminal issued by the state rather than something the POS handles. Age-restricted items can be flagged so the terminal prompts your staff to check ID. Both depend on your setup and your state, so we’ll confirm the specifics in writing before you buy.
Can the coffee bar run on the same system?
Yes, and it usually should. Drinks get their own sizes and modifiers while still ringing into one set of numbers, so you can see what the coffee counter earns on its own.
How many registers can I run?
As many as the counter needs. They share one catalog and one back office, so a price change lands everywhere at once instead of being retyped per till.
Can I keep my current merchant account?
Often, yes. Clover hardware works with several processors. Send a recent statement and we’ll quote both keeping your account and moving it, so you can pick whichever nets you more.
