Can the Mini be my only register?
Yes. It runs the same Clover platform as the Station — payments, inventory, employees, and reporting — so plenty of shops run a Mini on its own. The trade-off against a Station is screen size and counter presence, not capability.
Does it take Apple Pay and tap-to-pay?
Yes. Contactless / NFC is built in, so Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, and tap-enabled cards all work out of the box alongside chip and swipe.
Can it scan barcodes without a separate scanner?
It has a front-facing camera that reads 1D and 2D barcodes, which is fine for light retail. If you’re scanning all day, we’d pair it with a handheld scanner instead.
Do I have to switch processors?
