Can the Flex work as a standalone register?
Yes. It runs the full Clover platform on its own, which is why food trucks and mobile trades often use one as their only device. In a busy dining room it more often works alongside a Station.
Does it work outside, away from Wi-Fi?
It has 4G LTE alongside Wi-Fi, so the patio, the curb, and a customer’s driveway are all in range without touching the shop’s network.
How many do I need for a dining room?
Most restaurants start with one per two or three sections and add from there. We’ll size it with you off your floor plan and your busiest service — there’s no benefit to buying more than the shift needs.
Do I have to switch processors?
